DJ Mutiny (Carlos Martinez) started making electronic music on his PC at the age of 18, and since then has never stopped producing breaks, drum and bass, garage and hip-hop.
In 2002, he co-founded Funkatech Records with DJ Quest, and was an innovator in the bassline breaks scene. From the mid-2000s onwards, he branched out into liquid breaks, setting up the Sub Frequency Funk label and recording some influential tracks including ‘Most’ (ft Miss Trouble). He has released music with Supercharged, Botchit, Hardcore Beats, Cyberfunk, Funkatech, Wireframe and more, as well as performing many times in Spain, Australia, the US, Canada and across Europe.
